Brandgedrag (EU-bouwproductenverordening, CPR)
Vlamvertragend (y). De proef aan een enkele kabel achter klasse Eca is EN 60332-1-2 (de vlam dooft binnen 425 mm). Gebundelde kabels worden beproefd volgens IEC 60332-3-24 categorie C (1,5 l/m, 20 min, verkoling hoogstens 2,5 m); dat is geen proef voor een CPR-klasse, de CPR-laderproef voor B1ca tot Dca is EN 50399.
Een CPR-klasse wordt door de fabrikant gedeclareerd in zijn prestatieverklaring en op de mantel afgedrukt (EN 50575 art. 7). Deze decoder kent geen klasse toe. Wat de CPR-klassen betekenen →
