Fire behaviour (EU CPR)
Flame retardant (HF-NFR-8). The single-cable test behind class Eca is EN 60332-1-2 (the flame stops within 425 mm). Bunched cables are tested by IEC 60332-3-24 category C (1.5 l/m, 20 min, char at most 2.5 m), which is not a CPR class test; the CPR ladder test for B1ca to Dca is EN 50399.
A CPR class is declared by the maker in its Declaration of Performance and printed on the sheath (EN 50575 cl 7). This decoder does not assign one. What the CPR classes mean →
