VVG is een kabelaanduiding volgens GOST (Russia): В = PVC insulation (also reduced-fire-hazard PVC); В = PVC outer sheath; Г = No armour (a bare cable); not the "flexible" Г of the installation wires ПуГВ; ВВГ = ВВГ: unarmoured copper power cable, PVC insulation and PVC sheath, single laying, 0,66 kV (closest VDE: NYY-J / NYY-O, derived by construction). 0,66 kV (0,6/1 kV on some sheets).
